Students from across the country are competing to make a difference.
After eight years of running inspiring Impact Competitions on college and university campuses across the country, demand for our programming has grown to such an extent that we’ve launched a new annual event: our National Impact Competition.

From Campus to Nationwide
After eight years of running inspiring Impact Competitions on college and university campuses across the country, demand for our programming has grown so much that we launched a new annual event: the National Impact Competition.
This prestigious event is open to college students all over the country, with finalists presenting live at the Chicago law offices of McDermott Will & Schulte.
Our 2026 Non-Profit Partner: Blessings in a Backpack
For 2026, we partnered with the national non-profit Blessings in a Backpack to design a case that challenges students to create an on-campus Blessings in a Backpack program.
The program should engage college students, support the organization’s work to feed school kids over the weekend, and strengthen the non-profit’s community ties across the nation.
Students From Around the Country Want to Make an Impact
Five Teams. One Winning Idea.
With over 500 registrants and two competitive rounds of application submissions, the final five teams will head to Chicago to present their ideas to a panel of judges, including representatives from Blessings in a Backpack and the Impact Competition.
Blessings in a Backpack will implement the winning idea, and the winning students will receive a cash prize along with the knowledge that, even at this early stage in their lives and careers, they have the ability to make a difference in their communities.
Thank You to Our Sponsors
These sponsors are helping us compound positive change through their generous support of this programming.
At the Impact Competition, we believe that by engaging students with real problems facing the communities they live and learn within, we can create the next generation of philanthropists, non-profit supporters, and engaged citizens.
